Need to add a little excitement to get our for a run, then why not try getting chased by Zombies! This really fun fitness app makes running feel like a game. You are in control of your city (that is being taken over by zombies) and you must race to get supplies and food for you and your other citizens. Watch the video below for more info on this great app! The only downside to this app is the cost :( $7.99 but well worth the cardiovascular and health gains that you will see after months of training with this app.

2. Nike + Kinect
1. Nike Plus
I love this app! It's one of my favorite apps of all time. The new look really makes this app look smooth and the features are very impressive. Run anytime, anywhere, with almost any device. iPhone, Droid, or even iPod. It maps your run and shows time, pace, distance, and calories burned along with keeping track of how many miles you have on your running shoes. During your run you can get cheers from your Facebook friends and through Pinterest. After you run it allows for easy sharing of your runs on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. If you are new to running or looking to get faster, you can even find a training plan for any distance to use with the nike + coach feature. You can find challenges, create virtual races, play running tag with friends, and so much more! Check it out. Oh did I mention it was FREE! Wow! Click on NIke Plus above or the Nike sign to the left for a link to iTunes.
