So You Think You Can Dance? - Merton Style
The 4th - 6th graders recently finished their dance unit. Students were challenged to work as a team to create and record a dance that included different formations, creativity, and synchronization. At the end of the unit each group was able to watch all of the class dances and vote on which dance they liked best. Check out some of the the top voted dances by students below!
Circuit Fitness
The 4th - 6th graders are now starting a two week fitness unit in physical education. They will be learning a variety of body weight workouts that can be used for a lifetime. We are having fun while getting fit by incorporating fitness circuits and technology into class. We will be using an iPad almost every day of the unit. Some of the applications that help make our fitness unit fun are Music Workout and CoachesEye.
